Panerai 1950 case vs standard Bettarini case

I am thinking about a 1950 case Panerai, i have a 177 at the moment, i was wondering if the 1950s wore bigger than the 177 case.

A 44mm 1950 case like on the 233 will wear a little smaller on the wrist from my experience.

I think the 1950s wears much bigger, it certainly is thicker, I've got both

There's so many variations now but it really depends on which model you are looking at. If it's something like a 312 or 351 etc with the 3 day auto then as you can see above its a lot thicker than the bettarini case, the case back gives it extra height plus it can be top heavy and the lugs sit off the wrist a good bit too.

As mentioned above the 233 with the 8 day manual wind wears completely differently - it's a good bit thinner and sits lower on the wrist.
