At the risk of being drummed out of the forum! Can anyone suggest a manufacturer that makes a convincing, no date diver with and aged lume/fauxtina, vintage, etc, look? Many appear, to my eyes, a bit too 'peachy' in colour.
Micro brand or main stream.
Up to £500.
This has the most convincing fake patina lume of any watch I have seen.
It’s a much lighter colour than most
New it was about £700
I have no idea what they are doing on the 2nd hand market but if I own it it’s bound to loose money.
The trouble will be finding one I guess as only 500 were made.
Buy a good Diver's watch, put it through hell, then it'll have a totally convincing patina!

The Synchron plots do look pretty good although I'm not entirely sure about the rest of the face.
I'm familiar with the CWC 1980 and 1983 re issue pieces which I quite like although I already have a CWC RN Divers, so maybe something different.

They’re master of dive watches, tested way beyond their declared limits.
Plus many vintage looking too.
None date, every variation you could ask for.

These two from Longine are fairly calm. From memory I think the Legend 67’ is a sort of old English white. The bracelet is also a retro look

Another option could be to get James Hyman to re-lume anything of your choice.

I don't think you can go too far wrong with our host's PRS 82, a great reissue of a vintage diver, and the faux lume is pretty good I think. A good price too.

I think this illustrates my only surprise about this watch - it wears really very small on my wrist (it doesn’t bother me but probably the smallest I’d go) - the end of the CWC nato only just has enough material to tuck into the keeper you can just see!

Oris is nice - might be a bit out of budget though. I like the look of both WMT and Undone and all nicely within budget. Rather like the Baltic as well, Oh dear - choices!
