    Incoming................

It's been a long time since I've been so excited about a "new" watch.

Thanks to Loupe for the trade.

Very nice - and lovely sharp photo as always. [Hoping I'll get mine next year.]

Did you already have the original LV or Hulk?

I had an LV that I sold a good few years for what seems like pennies given the values today, but hey hoe. I'm hardly alone with that scenario.

You must be very happy Andy. Very good 16600LV example! What year is that from? I can never tell - but is it a flat four?

    Thanks. It’s a 2004 flat 4.

Did the 1680 make way for the LV?

Thanks, but no. I traded the RG Yacht Master.

    1680 sold "off forum"

Looks like a fantastic example Andy, congratulations.

Like you I have just recently returned to the LV fold having sold my previous one 5 years back. Mine is a M serial so not an early flat 4 but an LV all the same. IMO they are still the one of, if not the best 'Modern' Rolex.

    Enjoy!

Don’t be silly. Andy paid me £5k on top.

Looks fantastic, can see why you’re very happy! Wish I’d bought one years ago, but was late to the game, and can’t afford to get in now!

Lovely looking watch, of the green submariners, the Kermits to my eye are by far the better looking.
