I watched that last night, great process and finished article. I can recommend the following channels if you like this sort of thing. For shortish videos that you can dip into Retropower and Tom Woodford, quite different areas but the skills and attention to detail are second to none. For the long haul Acorn to Arabella and Project Binky are well worth watching from the beginning, although neither is finished you'll soon catch up!

I have no idea where the £13,000 comes from. I have a restored Garrard 301 in a hand built plinth that in total cost maybe a tenth of that.
Impressive woodworking skills though.
OK, that would do it. Bit of overkill with a 301 IMHO, which for those that don't know is an idler drive turntable from the late 50's, early 60's, much used at the BBC back in the days when they used records for radio transmission.
Here's mine, in a hand made slate plinth.
