Help please - Newbie question!
I’ve just changed the battery in my Scurfa Diver One. Being most pleased with myself as I saw it ticking away nicely I thought I would set the time prior to replacing the case back.
The crown is a screw down one. When I screwed the crown in the whole of the movement now moves around inside the case.
As I tighten the crown into its threads the face is being pushed to the left to the point that the dial is now misaligned to the left and no longer central in the watch case. Once the crown is screwed, tight the face doesn't move.
In the picture you can see that the face at the 3 o’clock position is different to the one at the 9 o’clock.
What have I done wrong and can I fix it?!!
Many thanks

Save us from idiots!
Having re visited my workbench I spied a watch shaped plastic ring! It may be, I thought to myself, that I have left out a vital component - re fitted said plastic spacer/ring and behold all is well! I guess we all have to learn at some point!
Apologies for wasting your time!
Confession is good for the soul, you learnt a new skill
