Aerospace (or certainly my Avantage model) just needs a small screwdriver

I would but I've heard some nasty stories about frying the movement. Also the last battery only lasted a couple of years so the movement might need a bit of a service.

Don't worry though, it's not going to Breitling but to a very helpful, local TZ forumite :)

    I`ve got one of those.
I bought it new in 2004.

In fact i`m wearing it now, it`s my `watch of the week`.
I never bother with setting the correct date on any watch..

Had a few in my time, only this one at the moment.

Always fancied a gold version of this but can’t justify the cost.

A few of my favourite and only brand,

    Chronomat B01 42mm

I’m tempted to get a steel and gold bracelet for the above, what do you think?

    Seawolf 45mm

    Navitimer B01 46mm

    Chronomat longitude

Enjoy the rest of the weekend people,

    Colin.

Just took a punt on this. Not really done the whole blacksteel thing before, but looks very cool on the wrist (at least I think so!)

Really like those. I keep looking at the 42mm version.

Edit: what sort of discount can you achieve on a Breitling?

    They really are great IMO.

On these I’d be aiming for 20% I think. I managed just under 25% but my friend knew the AD I purchased from personally.

I think they have a pre-owned unworn 42mm of this in Copes Jewellers in Nottingham.
At least, they did on Saturday as I tried it on. They had not put it out in the window yet as just arrived, so don’t know about price.

I managed just over 20% on the Superocean I bought on Saturday. It was new - not sure if you would see the same on pre owned but give them a call. They are nice enough.

They're underrated if you ask me, especially if you're paying used prices. Here's mine

Mine (pictured in previous posts) is returning a loss of 4 seconds over seven days. I normally accept 4 spd as outstanding performance! So as you say, outstanding watches and amazing value used.

Thats unbelievable, If I remember rightly I paid about 1400 quid for this when it was a year and a bit old. Blows my mind that its about 1/7th of what a sub trades at today

Some of the new models are fantastic. The classic chrono’s are particularly nice.

Considering an Avenger or Seawolf on rubber for my next piece. Hard pressed to decide between the Breitlings and a Seamaster on rubber.
