    I hope the springbars are too long as opposed to the lugs having been polished so badly they’re now half missing!

    Is it because the case has been polished to within a mm of its life, or just because they've fitted the wrong size bars? I always assumed the former when I've seen other examples.

    And is it my screen or do those pics have the brightness turned up to 11? Zinging.

    Case looks very thin at the lugs to me.
    Could be a mix of both as generic bars are flat ended rather than curved like OEM, but I suspect 70% dead case and 30% wrong bars.

    I see it’s a 1973 model - I’m a 1969 and to be fair my lugs have seen some polishing!
