Seems a bit expensive for the quartz version. Factor in a refinish and battery change and it looks expensive.

Hi fellow watch aficionados
I have been offered to buy a Omega Seamaster Quartz 2541.80.00 from 2001 with box and papers.
Price: 2.000 Euro
I don't know much about the different Seamaster models - Can anyone of you tell me something about the model and if the price is right?
I appreciate your input.

I agree with Martyn.
I have one of these and absolutely love it but I think this one is just too much money.
Seams pricey for the quartz. I have the auto and I thought they went for this kind of money
I’d echo the above, I used to buy and sell Seamasters many years ago, still keep an eye on prices - I think that’s too high. I’d want to buy at around £1400-1500 at the most. Any more needs to be in superb condition and I’d be looking for a full set.
Lots of sellers grossly overprice these.
