Short video of close up of launch at KSC by my daughter in law.

My daughter in law just sent me this vid she took of a recent launch.

She is general manager of all branches of Launch bank at KSC so she gets a good view!

Did you film that? Would love to see a space launch one day.

No, although I have seen a couple of launches.

The film was from my daughter in law who is general manager of the banks in KSC so she gets a close up view!
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Every time we go to Florida, I start checking the launch date calendar weeks before we fly to Ft Myers. Sadly, the launches and our holidays never matched.
Given the chance to see one, my youngest and I would get up in the middle of the night when needed for the lengthy trip from Ft Myers to
-say- Cocoa Beach just to experience a launch

    It's pretty awe inspiring Menno.

Hope your next holiday coincides with a launch.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

If you have not already, turn the sound on! It is very impressive the amount of noise that thing makes, considering how far away it is.

The one thing that is most impressive (or rather was) with the big Saturns and the Shuttle launches was feeling the earth move - the vibrations were fantastic !!!

I'd have loved to have seen that Brian.

One time I was there for a launch and it was postponed due to the weather.
    Cheers,
    Neil.
