We visited him in 1974-75 because Slaughterhouse 5 was one of the books chosen by our American Literature teacher ( the others were Tortilla Flat and The sound and the Fury; funny thing, how memory works). I can’t remember if he was in Columbia University or Barnard College but I am pretty certain it was one of the two. Yet I found no mention of either when I checked his bio on Wiki.
