    Panerai strap recommendations please!

And so I bought my first Panerai (PAM00196 from 2005, complete set) this week, a friend was selling one, wanted one for a long time. Like this:

Delighted with the watch, it is just me, perfect size (although I'm not normally a fan of chronos - open to swap for another PAM if anyone is interested)

Now it came with the original black rubber. I've gone off rubber a few years ago. And black croc. Never been a fan. So I'm thinking of getting a few new straps, maybe tan (vintage) thick leather, bordering on orange and light silver / blueish suede?

Any recommendations much appreciated. Budget is flexible.

My 250 is in essence the same watch, just a brushed case-

Loads of different straps suit it:

    OEM Military Green Rubber
    Yuran Strap

Last three are Toshi straps, can’t beat Rich’s straps for quality.

Enjoy the ride, you’ll be addicted to strap buying before you know it!

Bit of a left field suggestion
I can't wear leather straps so have bought a few cork straps from these people.
They are beautifully soft and although not as robust as leather they wear very well.
    They do a 'Panerai' range

Corrigia if you go leather or Panerai if you go rubber.

Another one for Corrigia. Not cheap but he does send out discount codes regularly. A 40% off one is valid at the moment. I guest you just need to register.

    VIPCLUB is the code.

Thanks a million for all the suggestions! I went a bit mad, bought two very cheap suede straps from a seller on Etsy, kzfashions@163.com. I also ordered a cork strap from that seller in Portugal (great country, would love to visit again)

A forum regular approached me via PM about a Toshi tan leather strap he was selling, so I bought that too

Just looking at the Corrigia straps now. They look out of this world. I'd say I'll spend a few hours on their site and I doubt I'll get away from it without ordering a strap!

When I had the Pam 0188 Daylight, I got the folks at ABP Atelier in Paris to make up several straps.

These guys are worth a look and their quality is excellent.

So now I have the watch on a class Toshi tan leather strap. Wearing it right now. A cork strap on its way to me from Portugal and a few suede ones through Etsy.

And I've had plenty of time to reflect. Panerais are not just a passing thing for me, they are here to stay. I just love the styling, the size, the heritage, they are me, suit me perfectly. But not the PAM00196. It's a chrono, of which I am not a fan normally, I have no need for this complication and my eyes are aging so I prefer a more plain and basic face

So let me cut to the chase:

Do any of you Paneristi want to swap with me? What have you got? I want a plain face, big lume, and minimum 44mm size.
