Thread: Anyone bought any doge?

  1. #1

    Anyone bought any doge?

Seems a punt at the moment at about 0.29p per doge so not a lot to lose. Just bought £50 worth and let’s see where it goes.....you never know
    Anyone else took a punt?

    Keep up at the back.....

The only other mentions in the thread are generally saying how bonkers it is and how brilliant/awful/illegal* it is that Elon has pumped it singlehandedly.

I wouldn't buy it at 0.29... it's almost at it's all time high at that price. Wait until it drops again to < 0.20p like it was just a couple of days ago!

Novice alert, just bought £100 worth and checked resell price minutes later. £82 crash or commission? Tbf I'd written off 100 for the fun of it. Will sell in 1 year's time whatever the price. 1st May 2022.

Bought £1k worth @ $0.0082 in January after too many beers.

I thought bitcoin at £60 was far too expensive. So I have a track record of making dire financial decisions.

That’s got to be the best drunken decision you’ve ever made, right? Assuming you’ve not sold already, it’ll be worth around £50,000 now. 

Bought circa 20K Doge at $0.03, $0.05, $0.07 and a few hundred at $0.21. Took my seed money out as it went up. Took a further $1k out as 'profit'. Currently sitting on 11+K Doge just to see where it goes.

I bought 65k doge about 5 years ago for the princely sum of £20 back when it was little more than a laugh.. stored it on a local wallet and subsequently lost that after a reinstall.

That would now be worth around £15k. I can’t deny it’s really eating me up, frankly.

    Ouch.

Must be many people with similar stories to tell across all the many coins and tokens.

Also many people on here who sold 1960s & 70s 4 and 5 digit sports Rolex for under £2k. (Myself included).

Something to tell the grand children, when you’re giving them their birthday money in the 22nd century global currency, Doge.

The thing with Dogecoin, and the reason why there is a general belief that it'll never reach anything like the value of Bitcoin, is that there is an infinite supply of it.. it's not like Bitcoin where there will only ever be so many of them. So I'd say only pump a load of money into it if you're feeling particularly brave. And as I said earlier, I'd certainly wait until it hits another slump as it's fairly high currently.

By the time you've cashed out, it'll probably be too late.

This is the new hot one. SCAMCoin. Sounds legit.

Once the 16570 is getting £10k every day of the week, I'll cash out

Bought 1,000 on 4/19 at 0.29 on the assumption Mr.Big would get baked on 4/20 and post some nonsense that would spike it. Oh well

I’ve made some serious money on VET and HBAR this year.

I’m still undecided wether to take it or let it ride for a few years.

Welp.. shows how I know next to fuck all about investing as the price of Doge has gone nuts.

Surely it’s gonna tank soon though.

Musk presenting Saturday Night Live this weekend. So sell all your DOGE just before broadcast. If he doesn't mention it, price will plummet.

Meanwhile my missing doge peaked at nearly £32,000 this afternoon.. I'm trying to not be too fed up about it but damn that would be a major windfall in my life right now.

Yep.. bought the Doge years ago when it was just a joke and paid like £20 for my 65,000 dogecoins ... and then transferred to a local wallet on my PC at the time but I'm sure it's since been lost due to me not backing up the wallet file.. I probably figured at the time it didn't matter and would never amount to anything. God damnit.

I was only kidding - tongue in cheek. No issue having a Doge thread - love the Dogey.

So is the party over or will it be at $0.75 tomorrow morning?

At one point today that £20 was worth £45k, I would be taking that PC to a IT guru and trying to dig up the past!

Sadly I am an IT guru! Have worked in systems / infrastructure for nearly two decades. I used to buy/sell/rebuild PC's pretty frequently and got used to just wiping / reinstalling and only keeping certain files... and I just think at the time, I figured it wasn't worth keeping or backing up, and just binned it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

See Elon has said some poor comments about it and it’s dropped 25% instantly!

How that man is allowed to have such sway in the markets is beyond me?

It got listed on Coinbase Pro. Hence the pump.

Will go even more nuts when it’s dual listed across to the basic Coinbase platform that all the “Bois” use.

I bought back in after the dip at 0.26. Love the Doge.

  48. #48
Yep. Been hodlng 18k Doge since Feb. Waiting for the CB Pro listing to go live at 09:00am Pacific Time (or is it EST?). Anyway, sometime this afternoon GMT.

I wonder if Doge will able to hit 1-dollar bar this bullrun. There has been almost no news about this coin recently.

No it's toxic garbage and there is a very good chance you'll lose all your money if the main wallet holders dump it all
