Omega SMP v Tudor bb58 v New Tudor Chronograph

I have these 3 watches on my list for a 40th present in 6 weeks time. I went to the Trafford centre at 5pm i visited Beaverbrooks who had the BB58 Blue in the window. I tried it on and after all the reviews and hype i thought it was very plain and the build was fairly basic. The Tudor Chrono (i know this is a different type of watch) was on first impression a lot thicker and busier. I went next door to Omega and tried on the 300m in blue on the bracelet this seemed a lot lot more watch for the money. A lot more detailed and also a lot nicer in different lights. For 3 watches of similar price i thought the quality of the Omega was a lot better than the Tudor.

It’s Déjà vu all over again.

By the way they’re not of similar price. Isn’t the SMP about £1500 more expensive than the BB58?

He doesn’t seem to be very good with numbers, especially when it comes to Tudor.

Well at least you know, after all the threads and opinions made, you now have first hand experience on which one you like more and which offers the better value proposition.

Each to their own of course, but your previous threads show how people feel on each.

You've decided now go and find the best deal and enjoy it for your 40th.
