Rubber band - Black Bay 58

    Hi folks,

Perhaps already been covered but could not find anything specific.

Need some expert advice or perhaps suggestions from who already went down this path.

I’m looking for a black rubber band with fitted ends for my Black Bay 58. I’m okay with a tang buckle but as I have the deployant that comes with the leather strap I am looking for an option to use that.

I’ve narrowed it down to Crafter, Everest, RubberB and Vanguard but I’m a little lost on the sizes and options.

Has any of you found an option to allow use of the original Tudor deployant?

    Thanks
    D

I have the Vanguard, it is great quality. Mine is on the tang buckle but if you look on page 5 on the reviews for the BB58 Black Strap on Vanguard's website, there is one with photo's of it on the OEM Deployant.

Thanks guys! This confirms me that the 58 looks stunning with the rubber and perfect as summer set up!

I’ll look at Vanguard closer, prices seem pretty reasonable

I quite like it on the rubber b. Feels a lot lighter and more planted. That said I mostly wear it on the bracelet.

Question: what’s the width of the strap at the end buckle end?
Trying to understand if it will fit on the OEM Deployant I have.

    Thanks

Vanguard straps get my vote. I've got one from a BB58 I had earlier this year, I'll ping you a PM.

Hopefully Doug has sorted this via PM. If not let me know and I'll check mine. I'm pretty sure it is 20mm at lugs down to 18mm at the buckle.

Rubber band - Black Bay 58

Got this in the mail today from Vanguard! Pretty pleased with it and no problem whatsoever in using the OEM deployant.

I went for the standard size with my *7 inch (17-18cm)* wrist and in retrospect I might have gone for the small but you live to learn…

Super comfortable and very snug fit!

Congrats, it looks great. Mine has been permanently on a Vanguard since new but with the buckle. It does look a bit more special with the clasp.

Looks very nice - i‘m also searching for a nice rubber strap for my BB58. Can you please tell me more on the length? As I understood you have a around 19,05 cm wrist (I’m from germany so I need to transfer inch to cm) and the standard strap is too long? I searched the web for more user experiences and came up with some very different opinions on what wrist sizes the standard length will fit best. I have a medium/small wrist with around 7inch and I’m wondering if I should choose the S length . I would appreciate your opinion on that.

Quality looks good, feels premium. Comes with spring bars and standard buckle but nothing else. Mine fits perfectly around the case with no visible gaps.

    Sizing:

I do apologise, conversion error in there (preference is for metric here too!).
With my 7 inch and 17.8cm wrist, I opted for the standard size.

With the standard buckle, on my wrist, I use about half of the holes.
With the deployant I’m in the second tightest position, not sure why.

I’m sure with summer and heat, that will change and I will probably need to allow a bit of room.

Thanks for your input on the size. It seems that we nearly have same wristsizes (17,5cm-17,8cm) ;)
