Buy new Oyster PCL bracelet for BLRO?

Apparently Rolex will be allowing this soon. Quite like the idea of getting one for my BLRO and then having the option of both bracelets. How much do you think this would cost? I vaguely recall RSC st James square quoting £1,750 for a Daytona bracelet a couple of years back, GMT surely the same? Would that include the clasp?

    Cheers
    Mike

I bought a spare 97200 bracelet from the AD about 18 months ago for the 116610LN and paid £1550 I think - so it would likely be in that ballpark

Probably a bit less I reckon as no glidelock on GMT bracelet

Simplest route surely to ask your AD.

Of course, but I’m too impatient to wait until Monday!

Cool, thanks...and just to be certain that includes the clasp?

I heard it could be a year before they lift embargo but it will be happening. No doubt lucrative for them.

You think they’d sell the bracelet without a clasp??

    Says who?

For the current GMTs, the Oyster bracelet is only available in bi-metal or precious metal...

The steel Oyster bracelet with polished centre links (as on the 116710BLNR) will not fit on the 126710BLRO because the end links are shaped differently.

I bought the 97200 glidelock oyster and it fits the 116710LN no problem. Not sure if it fits the newer 126710BLRO though.

I had the 97200 on my (now sold) 126710BLNR no problem - using the BLNR springbars.

I'd get the Sub bracelet personally but based on your collection with the SD43 the PCL might make more sense.

Yep, am leaving towards the PCL. If I got oyster I’d probably never wear the SD43 again.

Called Rolex, they currently will not supply an oyster bracelet for the BLRO...said could take up to a year for this to be allowed?! New bracelet cost is £1,500 if they were to supply it. Might look for second hand

Just to update that in the end went for the sub 97200 bracelet bought from Rsteenekamp off this forum. Quite like the subtle toned down look of the brushed bracelet and am able to get the perfect fit with the glidelock clasp. Have spring bar tweezers so a quick job to change back if I want to bling it up.

Did have a hankering of the new subLV 41mm, but i think this will put that on ice…well, at least for a while.

That looks great with the brushed bracelet - the pick of all the ceramic bezeled era.

Still hoping for the chance to buy one myself

Damn! That's exactly what I wanted to do but couldn't get my 97200 to fit so sold it!

Did you use the existing spring bars on the BLRO? I can get one side to fit, but the other end just couldn't line up with the lug hole. Looks the dogs when in though so well done

I used the BLRO spring bars and had no problems fitting either side. Perhaps one of your springs were bent?

Really happy with the look, feels/looks like a new a new watch.
