    Visualisation Escapement

    As per the title really
Just had Cousins latest monthly offers pamphlet through the post, and on the front cover it shows what looks like part of an mechanical movement, called a visualisation escapement, to be used with a quartz movement?
Is this to put a quartz movement on to give it a fake self winding look for use with open caseback??
    Anybody know please

Any chance of taking a pic of the cover. I have never heard of a Visualisation Escapement.

Thanks. Never seen it before. The opposite of dead-seconds. A quartz can now identify as a mechanical.

Just looking at it again, is it to convert a quartz into a mechanical small seconds, at 33.5mm I guess for a panerai esq style?

I think the quartz (with hour and minute) will be a completely separate module. What we see is again a separate module with a short spring that just keeps the visible balance wheel going and small seconds. It will look like an open-heart auto but have the advantages of quartz.

PS A bit like a spring drive... oops ducking... getting hat.
