Looked at one in 2002. Uk spec and thought it was dear at £24995. Bought a 4 door Impreza in the end. Add it to the list of regrets.

To add some balance to this - the USA has only very recently (2020) allowed the import of JDM models and the car scene over there worships cars like this so it's really a case of supply and demand.

They've always allowed imports over 25 years old and people were talking up an explosion on R32 Skyline prices long before they qualified. This one isn't quite there yet hence -

To any potential buyer of this car, please take note that the vehicle is in the United States under an approved “show or display” exemption. Transfer of ownership must be approved by the NHTSA before the title changes hands. The buyer must also apply for a new “show or display” approval from the NHSTA and provide current photos of the car. Potential buyers should be aware that the vehicle is limited to up to 2,500 miles per year and must be made available for inspection by NHTSA until it is not less than 25 years old.

Imagine what it'll be worth in a couple of years when it can be registered as easily as any other car...
