The numerals on the bezel look small compared with the Sub, Black Bay, or the new Seiko 149s.

I also dislike the caseback with 'WR 200 METRES', that seems unusual on casebacks, more often the Metres is abbreviated and Water Resistance written in full, at a much smaller size than than currently shown. But either way it's going to be a hugely popular watch.

    My take on it...

This would be my choice. However, by all means have "Commander" on the caseback for ease of future reference.

Sorry. Only just seen these questions for some reason.

Early November is the current plan but could be slightly earlier.

This is the watch Tudor should have been making instead of that blocky Ebony Bay.

    Love the 3 6 9.

Now that the mission timer is released, the excitement for the Commander is in full swing. Here's hoping we see new photos of it soon.

Coming in October apparently. It’s definitely not one I’ll be in the market for as it’s too similar to my Glycine Combat Sub.

I'd love to say that I know when the review will come out, but I don't.
It is submitted, and awaiting publication, so I will try and clarify with the editor what the timing is.
I will post here when I know, but suffice to say for now that it works on many levels. It's a lovely watch.

Saw the update this will release on the 2nd. Hopefully I can get it since my birthday is on the 4th.

  30. #330
Wow, I was expecting the end of October.
At £365, it's priced quite affordably.

I did notice that the overall thickness, including the crystal, is 14.6 mm. Is it still about 13 mm thick without the crystal?

I think its doing to be a busy opening on sunday!
I was worried about the thickness and usually a 14.6mm would make me pass but with 2.5mm of crystal then the actual case isn't too bad.
Feels like we have been waiting for it forever so I think ill have to try and get one and try it out.

I don't think there has been any mention of a date version. The Everest range all have the same non date MIYOTA CALIBER 9039

I guessed it was unlikely, since it will alter the aesthetic a little (the 3 6 9 dial) with a date at 6 or 4.5 it doesnt need to do it by much.

It's priced too cheap at that. It looks fantastic and would be a sell out at twice the price.

Before it launches, let's appreciate the first design and the final design.

Personally, I really liked the slightly greenish hue that the numerals and the bezel had in the first version. It gave it a sleek vibe. However, I am really liking the overall color scheme on the final version; there's more unison, making it warm, yet sophisticated.

Really nice that it's not deviated too much and the finished article is the best happily

I'm in 7198 , I think I snuck under the wire and only just 2:02
I had to type in card and then use phone app to confirm purchase. So a lot went on in those 2 mins.
But I was F5 and clicking as soon as I could.

Too bad, I lost today's battle, it took me a bit more than 2 minutes. Perhaps next time.
