I noticed that too. The faux retaining plates for the rivets are still there though.

Yes, I couldn’t think how to describe those. I think this watch would suit the rivet style bracelet, but I would personally prefer a plain bracelet myself.

The original oyster bracelets were sprung and the rivets were holding the edge-plates. I still think the jubilee looks better on this model though. Check the original inspiration....

I never ask for reviews but if someone wants to review any of my watches, I'll consider it. Since Brexit, there have been problems with customs, the last watch I sent to Tim attracted customs charges for him and also for me when it was returned.

Try bazza on here, he has done some good reviews on YouTube (Timeout Watches) and UK based.

That looks very lovely indeed, definite want.
Does anyone know (Eddie likely does, but I imagine swamped with business) if generic display backs available for cases of this design and size that I could buy from e.g. Cousins or eBay, or is everything bespoke?

Looks great, cleaner dial without the commander text

Any ideas on a release date yet so I can set 10 alarms to go off when the shop opens

Of course, the next debate is Oyster or Jubilee? I can't do both because the minimum order for bracelets is the same as for watches, which is 300 and I'll only be ordering 300 for the first run.

Oyster bracelet and a 6200 big crown(to match the 6200 style dial) are sure fire crowd pleasers in this instance.Every other detail and proportion of this watch looks amazing;give it a bigger crown and its perfect.

I like both but agree that I was a fan of the commander text. Added a little more personality to the dial.

A number of people commented on Facebook that the "Commander" text made it a watch for Walts.

I'm pleased the "Commander" has been dropped from the dial. Oyster. The crown is quite large enough.

I quite like the COMMANDER text also the revised text works too....I would say a slightly larger crown (due to the 38mm case size) and works best, in my opinion, on the Oyster bracelet.

At first I wasn't taken with the Commander text, but over the week I came around to it.
It is no different to having Explorer or Sea Dweller on the dial.

I should of kept my big gob shut.
