Does the 'lateral wiggle' trick work, or will it not pull at all?
Took my Explorer I out the safe a couple of weeks ago and could not for the life of me move the crown. Any methods to loosening it up?
The watch was purchased from a forum member earlier this year who purchased it from Hackett Watches, so if all else fails hoping they have a warranty that's transferable, anyone have any experience of Hackett warranties?
Thanks in advance.

Crikey. I have never had that.
Stuck seal I guess?
That would be a warranty return for me as I suspect it will keep happening even if you free it this time.
Crossed thread...
"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action."
'Populism, the last refuge of a Tory scoundrel'.
Sounds ominous. Not sure it was a crossed thread, don't recall getting any problem tightening it.
If it were cheaper i'd slowly heat the crown (at the expense of melting the o-ring)
Use a plier with plastic jaws. Just need more torque than your fingers can manage.
At the risk of sounding deeply patronising, are you turning it the right way?
