I have seen the calendar on sale before...Burrell's had it at half price £4000 at one point. Whilst it's not a particularly common model, you could try a WTB...maybe someone who previously bought it at a keen price is happy to move one on and pass the discount on.

Can thoroughly recommend the Globemaster though...it effectively replaced my Rolex Datejust in my collection.
