    Help me decide!

I've been lucky enough to get hold of gilt dial Everest. But the original bracelet just doesn't work for me. Which one has the general concensus as I'm really torn between the two.

First off, I think this is really a matter of personal taste, but to my taste, the two-tone doesn't have enough support for the gold in the watch head/dial. If the bezel were gold, or there were more gilt on the dial, it might suit it better - but as it is, the dial gilt is a fine detail, an accent - and the two-tone bracelet dwarfs it and draws entirely too much attention to itself. That said, I don't love this watch on the jubilee, so caveat lecteur. I have worn my standard (i.e., non-gilt) Everest on a (steel) president bracelet and even that seems too flashy for such a classic watch - I think ultimately it's oyster or leather for me. But again, you do you, it's your watch - no wrong answers here.

Appre iate the response and I think I personally like both and it'll get swapped between the 2 at some point I'm sure.

I'd like to be able to find a quality Oyster for it to go on but I seem to be struggling to find end links for it.

    I don't really like either.

When I had an Everest, I always preferred it on a leather strap - Got to be worth a try.

I'd like to see a picture of it on leather.

I have a Commando that I think I'm going to put on leather.

    Absolutely definitely the first!

Leave the two-tone for the people with more money than taste.

A proper two-tone would require for the bezel to be gold (tone).

Usually not a fan of two-tone bracelets, but the gold-colored line picks up the details in the dial and hands quite nicely. I think it's the better pick here.

I prefer the silver, I don’t think the colour is a good enough match on the gold one, both look very neat though

I'm not a fan of either, but I think the two-tone really cheapens everything. It might just be the photo, but it's a bit too shouty and cheap looking.
