Sinn EZM1 sharkskin strap alternative

Just got this strap from Di Modell. Looking at pictures of the original sharkskin strap it looks a very close match. It's leather but stated as waterproof.

Sinn's leather straps are made by DiModell. Its the same strap without the branded buckle.

Not sure that one is shark (and the originals definitely were). But Di-Modell definitely made the originals, and they do sharkskin straps today that also look the part (for not much).

I think that the OP was offering up the Polo Sherpa 1145 cowhide strap as an alternative to sharkskin. As you note Di-Modell also offer their Sharkskin 1650. The latter is one of my favourite straps and comes in a range of colours.

Unfortunately it's too long @ 80/120mm. Had to send it back.
