    Getting a watch polished professionally

    Hi all,

Apologies I know this must have been done to death. I have a Ming 17.01 I just picked up and it could do with a few small scuffs being polished out. I’ve had a go with a cape cod but to be honest not sure I have the skill or the patience.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

    Thank you.

I doubt a Cape Cod would help much but any decent watchmakers / jewelers should be able to help you. Or a mini dremel type tool with the correct polishing compounds if you feel comfortable enough to do it.

I do most of my own polishing and brushing now and it's not that hard to learn. Especially using YouTube videos but practicing on beaters is a good way to learn.
