Saw the nav unit on Instagram. Very cool, and I agree the battery charger is too nice to use, more of an ornament.

Happy the saga is over, although I feel like there is still a bitter taste with PCL. Hopefully you won't have to deal with them much more.

Oh I have a massive bitterness towards PCL and JCT600, so they will never get my business again. I had signed up for the Porsche Classic register with a completely different franchise even though it's much farther away.

Regarding private conversations, I would normally agree entirely, which is why it took me so many months in the first place to start talking about this at all, but I once I woke up to the fact that there was never any sincerity at all and my situation was getting worse and worse, I told them it was all going to be public going forward. They either didn't care or didn't take me seriously, but there is no such thing as private conversations with them as the only power I had in any of this was my public reach. Even when I was going to write the google review which seems to have really made waves within Porsche GB, I spoke to both the head of PCL and Porsche GB to give them an opportunity to do something to make me change my mind. I gave them two weeks. It was only after I posted it and it got a lot of traction that suddenly everyone wanted to talk to me. I owe then no privacy.

I should reiterate that Porsche GB have restored my faith in the brand and I am happy with the outcome from that side. PCL and their owner JCT600 have done nothing at all except not fix my car, refuse to meet with me, insult me, my work and my property.

I remember Jack Tordoff (JCT 600 owner) when he used to run around the local garages to get old tyres for his rally cars in the 1960's!

The company appears to have lost its original touch!

A bitter-sweet win Adi, but a win. Now please put some wax on your classic…

You have dealt with the whole shambolic affair as a gentleman, I fear I would have exploded long ago, good result in the end, Sir I applaud you, and wish your dealing with Porsche to be much better in the future.

I think exasperation caused the post after plenty of private 1:1 conversation went unheard.

Given the systemic nature of their multiple failures, the fact that they thought a suitable fix was to fire one individual just indicates that they have absolutely no idea and clearly have no interest in improving or changing anything. What a wretched company.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
