    How about a Smiths 36mm Turn-O-Something?

In another thread we were talking about a possible Astral diver etc. Anyway, long story short what I am proposing is a gilt dial PRS-25 with a bezel. The original 6202 Turn-o-graph was a 36mm watch.

I think it would be a good addition. Not too many 36mm dive style watches around and good looking watch with the addition of well thought out bezel 👍🏻

How would sticking a dive style bezel on a 36 mm watch affect the dial aperture...won't it make it smaller...I like the concept but would prefer it at 38 mm/39 mm.

I bought a vintage Edox Skydiver from SC a few years a go.
It was a lovely little watch but at 36mm was too small for a diver. The inclusion of a bezel made the dial tiny.

A polar white dialed 6609 Thunderbird Turn-o-graph homage in 38mm would make a stylish and versatile dress/sports perhaps?

    I'd be all over a 38mm option

    my budget hates this...

...been eyeing polar-schemed watches for a while and always thought if the polar Explorer II ever came in 38mm I'd just have to sell a kidney - but this would be perfect.

Same here as regards to being in pursuit of something smart in Polar White with 100m WR. 38 mm works.

    Good idea. Very good idea.

A lovely idea, maybe even with multiple bezel inserts for people to chop and change (count up, count down, 1-12?)

Thanks for the article links. Sounds like it was more of a sport or aviator watch than a diver, so 36mm would be interesting. I like the honeycomb dial a lot. This would have an acrylic crystal, yes?

About small watches, the bezel and California dial on this 32mm Zerographe are fantastic:

Didn't the Nth guy produce something that looks somewhat similar to this...Hmmm I was mistaken there is something called the nazaro suaro, has a cali dial but whitish dial, differnet handset, bezel.

That is so cool Rev. Love the hands. Even though hard to read, I like the quirkiness. The case is like the PRS-29a with a bezel.

    What's its size?

One of the few Smiths I've never actually seen irl, much less owned. And that's saying something.

Model A.470, produced for one year only (1957) and marketed as a "Parking and Football watch in chromium plated case with stainless steel back. Rotating bezel graduated 0-45 minutes."

Consensus seems to be that the case might be Russian.

Guess it's 36mm (based on the 12''' movement plus bezel).

    That needs making.
I love the idea of a 45 minute bezel too, leaving the last quarter blank.

Despite not being made for many years, Rolex recently renewed the trademark for Turn-o-Graph.

Looks like something similar could enter the pipeline.
