Love the JLC deep sea alarm.
Getting the best pair is tricky. Especially if you want variety. Somehow, I ended-up with two vaguely similar designs, although at wildly different prices.
And the good old CWC naval diver design from the early eighties. With an olive nato I always enjoy this, especially on rainy days.
But. But. I’d happily swap both to get back the Rolex 116509. Never should have sold
And, ridiculous, this was the watch I used to ‘pair’ with the 116509. Can’t remember how I could afford it....although, at retail from the local AD, it was a safe buy. To put it mildly.
Never really liked it , once I used it. The bracelet and clasp were poor , at the price, in my judgement.
So, for me, the 116509 Rolex will always reign supreme.
Just love it, sigh. One watch to last a lifetime. Except idiot me sold it to a dealer.
I’l never sell a watch again. Those days are over for me. But it was fun.....part of the ownership experience.

Don’t think I could go down to two watches...but if I had to it would be these from the current collection of 4:

If I had to go down to two watches, this could work as the perfect rotation.

Difficult choice when there a 40 or of the things......but on the basis of one has to be a diver, the other GMT......
But I could easily change my mind on the GMT....1655???

There is zero chance of me getting down to two. I have 13, including two g-shocks and a few cheap Seikos and love and wear them all.
If someone held a gun to my head, I’d pick my 14060M and Speedy Pro as my two, but I’d feel down and would soon add more.
Tough one but if I had to go down to just two then the following could well be an option for me.....
Impossible; don't want to play this game. BUT.....If I had to, my Smiths 453 and Sinn 556 and....bugger!
