    New Scurfa Announced

The Treasure Seeker. Very different to every Scurfa that's gone before. Miyota auto in them.

I was quite interested in seeing these after the early images released on Instagram, however after seeing that render it’s not for me. There are too many Nautilus references (case shape and hands) which is a watch I really dislike.

Meh! Too busy with the patterned dial and case scalloped all over the place.

    I'd rather have a Vostok 110

Wasn’t there a Tudor diver a few years back that looked very similar? I think it’s a design I’d have to see ‘in the metal’ tbh

I like Scurfa’s but not for me this one, too fussy I think.
I like they’re ‘toolish’ looks normally and have had a Bell Diver in the past and am considering an MS21 when released but will give this a miss.
Good luck to the company though

I support Scurfa's effort to diversify into dressier divers, and I think they will always get the essentials of a dive watch right. And there is a lot that is good about this watch, including what looks to be a very nice case (including really nice caseback), good finishing and reasonable dimensions/fit. The movement choice is sensible too. However, what is not for me is the patterned dial. It's certainly a point of difference in this crowded market, but I think it's a step too far and makes the watch fussy.

Yes at 6.02 pm, reminiscent of Eddies shop opening.

Yep, I went for one and managed to place an order in time. I've had the regular titanium with a blue dial for a while and love it. I found myself missing a date window from time to time and I like the extra minute markers on the bezel of the LE so thought I'd go for it.

Snap! Order went through at 6.01 so I hope I get an early number! - never had a Scurfa before so looking forward to its arrival, looks far enough away from a Submariner to not be an obvious homage imho - and I haven’t had a blue dialled watch since I sold an SMP about 20 years ago! - since my daily CWC SBS arrived I’ve realised I enjoy owning a few quartz watches without the fuss of setting them every tine you want to wear something different

Yeah me too, I've had three "Diver one" Scurfas, they're well made and used to be pretty good value, just couldn't handle the logo on the dial - how fickle it is to be a WIS.

I was thinking the same about tonight's LE. I got the email, created a calendar alert, then remembered I'd bought and quickly sold several Diver One variants.

Looks ace on screen, works well, feels good on the wrist, but even as a simple grab-and-go there was just something that made me eventually go, 'Nah!'.

Yep, managed to get one at 6.03. I was in at 6 sharp but I had to switch to desktop mode in my phone to be able to checkout.

They apparently wear small so if it doesn't work for my thigh wrists I'm happy to pass it on.

I have a Ti one, no date. Epic watch for the money, better than anything from Russia by a country mile

Would have loved this new one without a date. Maybe one day.

I did read elsewhere - on WUS I think - that there are ‘standard’ Ti versions on the horizon, as well as a Ti bracelet in the works

Sounds good. I haven't had a Scurfa before so it will be to see how I get on when it comes. Might be a trial run for one of the standard Ti models with a bracelet down the line.

Sounds good to me! Often wonder what having a huge wrist would mean watch wise vs my 6.75 wrists. Father in law is 6’6” with huge wrists and his watch looks tiny on him although it’s 41.mm.

There is already one on eBay for £400, the seller has not even received it yet and is using pictures directly from the Scurfa website......!

I've not waited for a release like this since the original Smiths Everest and it's unusual for me to be hovering over the keyboard when a watch becomes available. However having bought a new Scurfa D1 Gloss Blue a few months ago and being very impressed, I knew I had to get my hands on the MS21 with the fully indexed insert and white hands. Can't wait for mine to turn up on Monday

    Pics will follow.

Is it being sent via DHL? I got this earlier but no clue who it's from so might be Scurfa?

How did you guys know it was Scurfa?

Quick glance and it reminds me very much of the Tudor Hydronaut.

I had the MS18 (black dial) on release and while it was a nice watch I can’t fathom why he makes them a limited edition. They’re hardly special when in comparison to the rest of line up. I sold mine quite quickly, great specs granted but I found it quite boring. Plus the LE ones miss out on the great rubber strap he sells on the standard Diver Ones which are one of the most comfortable rubber straps I’ve worn. Worth buying for any watch.

Looks like the rubber is included this time.

It is and I hadn’t realised it would be until it arrived. They are excellent straps.

The relatively constant issue of LEs is a little bit of fiddling round the edges, but the general concept of the watch is excellent.
He seems to want to cover all the bases LE by LE, varying date and no date, hand colour, dial colour, Ti and SS, fully indexed or partially indexed bezels.
I am wearing mine today (not an LE but out of stock and archived so may as well be), it is Ti, Black, white hands, no date and individual indices to 15 only. The only thing I would change is a fully indexed bezel (which makes sense coupled to the fact that the bezel is 120-click).
I agree about the rubber, it is very good, but best of all in this regard is the use of proper shoulderless springbars into the drilled lugs. Immensely secure.

Think it's a bit small for me but I'll try it on the rubber just to be sure, don't have my spring bar tool with me so might be a few days. Hard watch to get a decent picture of.

If it's still too small on the rubber you're welcome to it if you want @Mj2k

    New Scurfa Announced

Hmm, I’m still awaiting mine (some sort of dhl hold-up) but that pic worries me a bit - with my 7 3/4 inch wrists most 40mm watches look a bit small, however I find the CWC divers - which also wear small - very comfy, legible and practical. I’m trying to wean myself off hockey puck sized watches tbh but it’s amazing how differently similar sized watches can wear. I would have thought it would wear smaller on the rubber as it’s closer to the wrist though

I think it being closer to the wrist without two NATO loops underneath might work a bit better, make it wear flatter.

I'm not into NATO straps anyway so it was always destined for rubber but I don't have my spring bar tool with me here.
