    Moser April Fools?

I'm not sure if this is actually real?

Would they release something like this?

If it’s not it should be!

In the strange world of high-end watches, its pretty well impossible to tell a genuine announcement from an April Fool! Especially when it comes to prices.......

Very clever juxtaposition of the traditional against a modern motif, with the crudely pixellated rendering of the hour hand reminding us of the limitations of technology - and that ultimately, it is synthetic. Will it erase the old conventions of horology? The answer - spoken by the serene fumé dial, as untroubled by each circuit of the hour hand as might be a blue sky by a passing cloud - seems to be "no".

And yet I feel they've missed a trick here; it is the second hand that really should have been rendered in a pseudo-digital style - to remind us, gently, that technology is ultimately transient and fleeting.

I must admit my first thought on seeing the thread was, what tiresome antics / unfathomably weird Swiss humour do Moser have for us this time?

But fine, maybe one day I will get one of their ‘jokes’!

Swiss German humour (an oxymoron if ever there was one).

Would be nice if it weren’t for the hour hand

I quite like that artistic rendering. Maybe I can just get that instead of the watch.
