Thanks David , I was always under the impression the reference number change was due to a change in ISO diver standards . Does yours say air diver on the case back like the older 2016 and onwards turtles (sbdy/srp777)?


Same watch anyway . Just the new ones I'm led to believe are covered for saturation diving not JUST air diving hence the removal of air divers if that's true to this model.

I’ve had a few turtles and luckily have all been pretty much spot on, but you never know with Seiko! An AD has just sent me a picture of their SPB143, and while there is no chapter ring to screw up on these models the 5 to 8 o clock lume plots are criminally mis aligned with the minute track on the dial

Thanks for the info. Mine doesn't say Air Diver, it says Diver's Watch 200m. Every one I've had before did say Air Diver.
