    Humble request: PRS-48 with date?

I know plenty of people prefer a dial without a date window but...

Plenty of people also prefer a watch with a date, and I’d love there to be the option.

I should think it’d be a really safe bet for Mr Platts, and require less work than a ground-up design.

Would evoke the cult classic Mark 12/15 IWCs.

    Thoughts?

    Humble request: PRS-48 with date?

I always preferred a watch with a date but for the past 18 months I’ve been without and definitely prefer the cleaner look of a dial without. I’d have no objections to your suggestion, but if the no date option existed, then of the two, it would be my choice.

Oh yes, definitely as an option.

I’ve tried watches without a date and whilst they look lovely, they do my head in sooner or later. I can never remember what date it is, one of my many shortcomings

Would the Baby Speedbird meet your needs? Similar dial with a date at 6.

Forgot about that, which is embarrassing!

Tbh I’d still prefer the PRS-48, it has what looks like better finishing amongst other things. More of a 3 o’clock date man myself too, but I suppose the Speedbird does go a long way towards filling that niche.
