Speedmaster Alaska Project in the real world

Spotted this while watching bike review. The Guy is David Alexander who works for Specialized.

Not sure I have ever seen one being worn in the protective shell before, very cool but but not sure I could carry it off.

Video here is you want to watch it

    Cheers,

    Ben

Not sure he carries it off to be honest...good spot. I remember when these came out in about 2008...it was before watch prices went sky high for both new and secondhand. I bet these are a small fortune today!

Does look a bit silly to be honest, but £10k worth of watch these days for those looking to buy.

On the footie last night Ian Wright was wearing a Rolex Milgauss GV Z Blue, which looked very blingy under the studio lights.

Bless him, he looks daft wearing that. I want to like it for being edgy and different.... but it just doesn’t work.

You won’t see the next video where he whacks it on the bike frame.

I spotted that too. I've got the black dialled GV but it doesn't pop like the blue dial.

I like the watch and considered one before prices when mad, but even I decided I'd look like an idiot wearing it in the case and without it it's just an overpriced Speedmaster LE.

That must be for a bet, or at the very least just so he can post in a WWUW thread.
