What sort of discount should I be looking for on this Breitling?

A friends is on the look out for this watch. https://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/Breitli...hoC2zkQAvD_BwE

I would suggest two tone watched and breitling must have some wiggle room.

Anyone have any recent experience on these or similar models with dealers?

    Cheers

    James

Personally I would be confident of obtaining a minimum of 20% from an AD for this model. Some AD's are more flexible than others so phone around and see what you can negotiate.

Give Andrew Michaels a call, in Newark. They always used to be able to do good deals, though I haven't used them for about 5 years.

I am certain you wouldn't pay list for such a watch, generally, though discounts are generally harder on all brands now than 5 or 10 years ago.

This is the only dealer I've tried so far. They offered 15%.

^ I’m surprised tbh. I suppose you’d get more discount if it’s a model they have in stock, so find a place that has one in the window...

i’d say 20% discount is achievable on a breitling, just call around get a deal done

I'm afraid I've no idea on discounts but when people mentioned two tone I was expecting something garish, but that is lovely. Please let us know what discount is achieved, I may be tempted myself!

There is a boutique now at Bicester village - worth a call in advance to see if they have the model you want

Failing that I’d be just calling with the cash buyer opening show - best price please

Or email them with your best price to sate etc

I always use AMJ and would recommend using them as they are close to us.
Over the years I’ve had some great deals from them.
Got 22% of the new Breitling chronomat 42mm B01.

My thoughts exactly. Never been a fan of Breitling as find most of their watches look a bit much (to me) but this is really nice, as are some of their other recent models I've just browsed. Will be interested to see what price is achieved in the end..

The lowest web price I see on Google for a brand new one is $4,339 through Chrono24. Others are priced around $4,500.

I think a friend got a discount on one of these recently in black. (15/20%) if I remember correctly. Maybe he could have got more shopping around I’m not sure. Never seen one in blue but it looks nice!

20% should be achievable if you buy then and there.
