See above, it is easily doable at a low level, you just need a bleed wep, as the bleed procs are based of the mobs total HP not your dmg so you can kill it pretty quickly. There is also a way to glitch this, by running back to the site of grace and resetting before the dragon dies and you get the runes and the dragon never dies, I have never tired this but heard about it.

I would say, the Millicent and Rani quest lines are the best ones to follow, again YouTube is your friend if you get stuck. The Alexander one is a must for the end rewards, you will need youtube for sure for this, as you need to make a potion and hit him with it a few times on your second encounter, again no idea how you would figure this out.

AC Black Flag is generally considered one of the best in the series, even if it is almost ten years old. You get to play as a pirate on the high seas. Ah arrr, me hearties!

Cheers Guys that has helped. I am up to lvl 38 now and at least I don’t die with 1 or 2 hits…well depending on the foe but I still have to be careful

God knows how people find this stuff and there is so little guidance apart from the main quest!

    Now to get stronger weapons!

Make sure you upgrade weapons with Smithing Stones, there is one of the catacombs early on in the game that has a blood Uchigana weapon which is excellent all the way up to level 70 or so. Get the spirit ashes and you can upgrade them using grave gloveworts at that place you teleport to with all the other heroes. Basically keep talking to the girl at the first round table you come to (she is leaning against a wall), then talk to the armourer bloke about her. Rinse and repeat. Eventually she will come and work in the room the armourer bloke is in and you will be able to upgrade spirit ashes which you will need for the boss fights

Just plan a build, faith, dex, int etc, then start to build now for that end class. You can reset stats once you finish the raya lucaria part but its worth building towards one build as the lava tears to reset are limited. Faith builds are pretty strong if you want to do a rounded style, swords for up close but also some nice faith spells and buffs, prob the best all round stat.

Int is good for a mage or mage / sword hybrid, build around the moonviel sword, which you can get early on.

For a easy(ish) end game, go faith, grab the blasphemous blade from the boss remembrance of the volcano manor part and then the game becomes easy as the weapon art is just OP. That is a mid game area tho so might take awhile to get there.

Aim for the mimic veil ash of war, as it is the best overall one

How are my fellow tarnished doing? I have pretty much cleared Limgrave and Liurnia, got a few loose ends around Caelid. Altus Plateau more than halfway through I reckon. I have wasted Godrick, Rennala and Radahn. Close to 150 hours in the game and plenty more to do. I’m taking my time, trying to explore every nook and cranny.

Died twice to his arrows before I learned to time my rolls. Once I got him to phase two and he clipped me effortlessly when I got greedy with my attack. Fourth run I got him. Admittedly I did read a strategy guide so I knew his weakness. I believe I actually attacked him four times in my winning run.

Finished Disco Elysium on the Switch. Very good game. Well recommended. If you don't like reading a lot and decision making, it may not be for you.

Alpha Protocol on the 360. Actually a good game, let down by some poor design choices and implementation. Can get frustrating.

Playing Dragon's Dogma at the moment. It's actually my sort of game, but after the previous two, I might give RPG games a break and play something else.

Anyone played Deus Ex: Mankind Divided?

4 goes is excellent. I think I got him on my twentieth or so! I basically used the other combatants to grind him down as I sped around the arena trying to avoid him!

Yeah well, I’m around level 110 or so and I’m really not a good player. I have invested pretty heavily in Vigor and Endurance. Dashing around on the horse and popping occasional incantations to the foe is my go to method whenever possible. I’m tanky enough to withstand some serious punishment. Radahn hit me occasionally with some of his ranged attacks but I could take it and heal myself cowering behind some obstacles.

Whenever I meet a foe in confined spaces on foot I’m in trouble. I’m just not good at dodging and rolling. I’ve tried to take on the Godskin Apostle in Caelid and I think it’s a lot harder than Radahn. The one in Altus I could take in a couple of runs, but there was ample space to move around.

The Apostle at the top of the hill with the windmills and the crazy cult women dancing? I think that's Altus Plateau not Caelid though.I killed that 1st time lol so it shows how setups impact results differently!

The thing that frustrated me with Radahn is how he'd hit me with ranged arrows as soon as I'd teleported across and before I'd even had a chance to move!

Like I said I got the one in Altus in a couple of runs. There’s another Godskin Apostle in the cellar of the Divine Tower in Caelid. Bastard is nearly making me cry.

Personally, I try to play a variety of online casinos. This is generally a super game, because there is really something at stake and it's much more interesting than the classic games. But it's also important to be able to understand and distinguish just what you need for certain games. I've found here https://topcasinosreviews.in/casino/...casino-review/ just the details on this subject, there's a very good description of the case. I hope it helped.

I’m up to level 54 now in Elden Ring, playing a Samurai blood build. Not enough faith or intellect for spell use.

Just seem to be running around avoiding the big guys but still get wasted too often for an enjoyable experience. I’m always on tender hooks when playing. Never had that before!

I finished the game at level 230ish. I had a faith/dex build so I had decent enough incantations. I mostly used some buffs and Black Flame and Lightning Spear for offence. Most optional bosses melted pretty easily when I called spirit ashes to take the heat and myself just circled around at a distance throwing black flame. The dragons, tree sentinels et al were easy prey. I just rode on torrent and turned just for a sec to throw an incantation and then ran again like the wind.

Real gamechanger for me was the Bloodhound’s Fang sword though. The two-action weapon skill does stupid amounts of damage. It has the blood loss effect without scaling to arcane like most blood thingies. Many big bosses succumbed to it including the final boss. The Mimic Tear spirit ash was also really helpful.

I suggest you try following White Mask Varre’s questline. You’ll get access to the best rune farm location in the game. Easy to acquire as many levels as you need.

The sword is in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in Limgrave. You need to beat Bloodhound Knight Darriwil to get it. You ought to advance Blaidd questline beforehand to have access to Blaidd as a summon. The sword is a curved greatsword and has slowish movements. Different to katanas if those are what you’re used to. Nearly all guides I’ve read told to powerstance the weapon with two hands. I must say that I never learned to dodge well enough to do that or dual wielding they recommended for katanas. I got a brass shield at the gatefront ruins during my first steps in the game and I never found anything better. I could never have played the game without a shield.

The rune farm can be accessed only after completing the Varre questline. It’s too complicated for me to type but google is your friend there.

One other thing I found helpful was a proper set of armor. At the stage you’re in I think the best I had was the Cleanrot Knight set that can be found on the corpses of Cleanrot Knights. They can be found in the swamps of Aeonia. Only trouble is that they’re not corpses when you find them. I suppose the runes you’ll gather at the same time as the armor will be helpful too.

Edit. Key thing is to find a weapon that has a moveset you’re comfortable with AND scales with your main attributes.

    Anyone play FIFA 23?

Recently switched to it and doing ok on Seasons (achieved promotion first time for first 5 seasons so far).

One thing I've noticed though is the HUGE jump in tackles. I typically register 10-20ish tackles per game. I'm regularly playing against opponents who are clocking up 60+! Today I played a match where I made exactly 10 tackles in 90 mins. My opponent made 112!!!! Most times the possession is roughly 50/50. Anyone know why?

I found the fang good at first then dropped off pretty quickly.

Depending how far down the game you are the rivers of blood is pretty good, power stance with another katana and you are good to go, mix in a few blood incantations like swarm of flies and you have a decent fun build, that last into NG++++, or maybe grab the moonviel - easily got early on, and a staff and do a hybrid katana - mage build, which is a fun play style for all occasions.

Best weapon for easy mode in the game is the Rykkard boss weapon, the ash of war is just OP, huge range, huge dmg, heals, spamable, makes the game very boring but helps for some tricky bosses, and is faith so you can work in some nice incantations. Power stance it with another similar weapon for good dmg.

I've finished the main story on God of War Ragnarok. I'm now working on finishing the end game missions and completing tasks I skipped over.

  32. #182
I've gone down the rabbit hole of building my own doom levels, great fun but an absolute time sink. There's tons of resources out there and amazing levels that people have built.

  33. #183
Metro 2033 and Last Light on the 360. They're great games. Especially Last Light. 2033 had some broken gameplay elements, like the stealth and sixth sense AI. Last Light had better stealth, but the AI was quite stupid, on "Normal" anyway.

I almost finished Bioshock Infinite. The BioShock games are the most overrated games, I have played so far. They're good games, but aren't worth the scores and praise that they get. 1 was the best and 2 was good. I really didn't enjoy Infinite at all. I got to the last part on the airship and using the big metal bird, but after I got blasted, just before the final part, I couldn't be bothered. The story may be decent, but the gameplay is terrible in comparison to the first two. They weren't that good gameplay wise also, but had better stories and mechanics.

Don't get to play much at all these days but recently got hogwarts legacy.
It's a great game but my old system is struggling. It runs ok but the odd stutter here and there on low settings. All other games I play run fine. All on 1080p TV.

I take it this is not worth upgrading any components?

    Case- Corsair Obsidian 650D Mobo- Asus P8Z77-V Premium CPU- i5 3570K (Noctua NH-D14) GPU- MSI Lightning 290X PSU- XFX Pro 750w Memory- 8GB Corsair 1600Mhz Storage- 840 EVO 250gb - 2TB WD...

Don't fancy building a whole new system as parts have gone crazy expensive. Might have to revert back to console

You might be able to get 16 or 32 GB DDR3 second hand (eBay) to replace your existing 8. Is the game on the SSD?

I will be starting it tomorrow morning. I bought a Switch OLED over the weekend to replace my day 1 Switch because I can see myself playing it more on the go this time round. I played BotW for 180+ hours so I figure I'll get some value out of Tears.

Impressive! Already felt BOTW was big for a handheld, especially draw distances.

I've yet to finish BOTW, I need to get around to it and buy Tears...

Tears is amazing. Havent really picked the switch up in a couple of years. Was playing handheld last night and gave me a headache!

Will stick to TV from now on

I spent the morning playing Tears. There is so much to it and I’ve only just finished the first two shrines. The new ability has so much potential for game breaking. I can’t wait to experiment.

  48. #198
5h 35m in and I’m getting to grips with the build mechanic and have reached the third shrine. Tears is going to be a major time sink for me.

When you get to the ground (Hyrule) it gets incredible. There's an underground map via the chasms that's as big as Hyrule itself. This will take 100+ hours easily. Amazing game.

Great to see that Zelda line still is nice. The last one I played was Ocarina of Time. Lovely game.

    Anyone tried Diablo IV yet??
