    Dubarry Boots for Men

I was thinking of getting a pair of tall, waterproof leather boots for dog walking duties.
I saw the Dubarry Wexfords at a good price, anyone on here own them or can suggest
suitable alternatives? I do have quite thick calfs at about 47cm over my jeans.

I have some Dubarry gore Tex leather zip up boots, they’re really good, comfy, waterproof, I never wear them though for some reason.

Just checked, mine are the Wexford. Recommend.

Try them on with thick socks before you buy them (online): on some models, the boot shaft is quite narrow near the position of the ankle. Not easy to get them on/off. Dubarry knows this and offers 'Regular Fit' (narrower shaft) and 'Extra Fit' (wider shaft) on certain models.
