I’m sure the posters will be up in the football locker rooms already.
Has anyone else noticed that AP have launched new models of the Offshore and Offshore Diver today?
I find it very strange however that they are not actually on their site or announced on their social feeds. Does anyone know why?
Here’s a link to the new Offshore watches:

And here are the new Diver watches:

The Divers new design will take some getting used to but will be very excited to see the newly announced quick release strap system for the Offshores....
I’m sure the posters will be up in the football locker rooms already.
They don't do much for me personally.
The new diver dials are a step in the wrong direction, no reason to fix what isn’t broken.
But the way the interchangeable strap system works will be interesting since it looks like the quick release plots are held in a similar fashion to existing plots, so i’m a lot more interested if these plots can be retrofitted to 42mm offahore or 15703/15710.
I might go have a hunt to find out if they have a part number, and restomod the old girl.
Not their best release and that's before the Marvel collaboration. Not a fan.
Yet another misstep under this dreadful CEO.

“Oh dear never mind “
AP dont need to do this stuff we already have Hublot.....
Its like Bentley announcing its doing a collaboration with MTV....
I know the ‘Code 11.59’ are fabulously built watches with many admirers but the whole ‘C0DE’ concept was a poor concept detracting from very good timepieces....
I await the AP ROO ‘Thanus’ with bejewelled bezel and a red Kronos button..

This, in contrast, would suit me just fine...

If AP create a Marvel associated watch, it'd be bloody hard to beat this:

I can’t see anything wrong with this AP. In fact, it looks marvellous!
I think the best take away is the use of a brand new in-house movement in the Off Shore Diver that was introduced in the Code xx.x I'd like to see if there is anything new with the RO (not offshore).
But honestly AP - how can aligning the brand with a comic book brand make sense? Seriously? This has chilled my admiration. I can only imaging what it will be like going into one of their boutiques. Maybe I should piss them off by wearing batman outfit.
^^^^
doesn’t seem “new” to me. Ok some different colours - yippee
That comment wasn’t addressed to you - it was about the new watches. I see now I did not study the new models enough before drawing my conclusions. We are all pig ignorant on here as it is a place to learn and expand our knowledge. Some further details would have been useful as I just saw various pictures and coloured variants - no technical details.
Nevertheless, that Sir (or Madam) did not mean you can insult me as you did. There are other sections of the forum for that, if you really want to do that. I meant no incivility toward you - whoever you are.

I might be in a minority here, but I really like the new divers. My favourite change is the new date-wheel font.
Here's the current offering: a slightly pedestrian Helvetica derivative:
Here's the 2021 diver. The font reminds me of DIN or Isonorm. Whatever it is, it's a great change:
The ceramic crowns and the stubby hour markers both get a thumbs up from me too.

Always think the crown on these looks like a nut that was added as an afterthought.
Only IMO of course.
