+1 for the Artificer

Dear Eddie
Can I ask (purely in terms of planning funds) what rough timetable you have for new models and restocking over the coming months.
I am sure others would also find this helpful, even if it is only approximate (and subject to how much is ordered in every opening window).
A rough list of what I think is happening
- I hope that the Caribbean is intended to make a debut at some stage pre-summer?
- I am not sure whether the PRS-3 is making its comeback in 21, if so, when?
- I think I read elsewhere that the PRS-25 will be restocked some time in May, is that all models?
- And the PRS-29A and black Navigator?
- The Artificer and the Jubilee?
- Finally, I think the movements for the HS9 model (not sure this has a code yet) were due in May, I assume the watch itself will be quite a while afterwards. Will it be released in 2021?
There are at least 3 watches I will be interested in mentioned above, so it would help to know if and when they may be hoving into view.
Thanks
Dave

Yes I would be very interested in this too - certainly the Caribbean and the Single Pusher Chronograph.

I think the Jubilee will be sometime in the 2nd half of this year?

Likewise - I would find a 'best guess' calendar of use 🙂
Definitely sounds like a great idea!
Dave, great post and seconded....am eyeing a few of those myself. Thanks.

Good question. Considering myself three or even four of the not yet released models so it would be helpful to have a rough estimate for dates. No doubt the opening windows will be thrilling as usual. Not so happy about the UPS service though, at least here, my Everest was sent on March 1st and they still have to deliver. They claim Brexit delayed everything, as if they didn't know when it was going to happen! I wonder how other couriers managed to keep swift deliveries despite pandemic, Brexit and what not.
Good idea! Then I know when to start saving
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the 36mm Speedbird GMT (quartz).
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Gonna need a bigger pipeline...
First Speedbird I can say I really like, though I would hope for an alternative strap option; not a bracelet fan so they generally end up left unused in the box.
However the Smiths single pusher is still of the greatest interest as I don't have a mechanical chrono in the collection.
I'm in for a PRS-3
I would love to see a Timefactors Lemania Regatta homage IMG_4392.JPG

Is there any way to see how many of a model is in stock? I know some sites you can add multiple items and it says when you've added more than they have in stock
Out of the below is like to know about the following
PRS-3
PRS29a
And the navigator

This question comes from a place of total ignorance about any design history so feel free to disregard it if there's anything sacred about the hands on this; that said, what do you think of shortening the hour hand so that it terminated right at the hour numbers? That might more clearly identify the hour without obfuscating it, which struck me as one of the (several) design strengths of the Navigator.
If I'm honest I'd line up to get one of these either way - I've been looking at the Speedbird 36 lately and always wanted a GMT - so this is just an idle thought.
Are the movements going to be the same?
The Speedbird 36 is a great (and underrated) watch. Very solid build and more of a "tool" feel than the Navigator, which I appreciate. I'd also get the GMT if it were offered. The hour hand on the standard Speedbird 36 is in fact shorter, along the lines you suggest. I wonder if it's longer on the GMT to differentiate it even more from the GMT hand?
