So am I. Had only been watching some of her past 'Ring exploits on YouTube at the weekend.
However I had read elsewhere that she'd been battling cancer since 2017.

For sure, I met her a few times on my frequent trips to the Ring and she was as nice/nutty as she seemed on TV, she will be missed.

    RIP Sabine.

    You made 'Top Gear' watchable.

I just saw this headline myself. So very very sad. 51 is no age. She always seemed such a lovely woman as well as being a true talent. RIP Sabine.

I have just heard this on the news. I also had no idea she was even unwell.

Very sad news and only 51 YO.

A lesson if ever one was needed that we should live life to the full whilst we can.

Really enjoyed her pieces on Top Gear, and a very talented racing driver to boot.

Very sad to hear about her death this morning.

What a woman - beautiful, infectious laugh, balls of steel, and unbeatable around the Nordschleife. Too young for such a bright light to be extinguished. RIP Sabine.

    [Cancer is a bitch.]

P.S. Thanks for the You Tube link above. Makes the other cars look frankly pedestrian. Impressive considering she was mid-40s too.

RIP Sabine, you will be sorely missed. You could talk the talk and walk the walk, unlike many of your fellow presenters.

Her antics undoubtedly introduced many to the 'Ring.

    Far too young, RIP.

I just watched the Top Gear tribute to Sabine which was very interesting. She seemed to be a truly lovely woman (and a legendary racing driver of course!).

That is so sad. I will never forget her drifting in the ring taxi as she overtook me, unbelievable speed and skill. RIP Sabine.

Very very sad and far too young, what a life she lived though being a Ring taxi driver and went on to many other great things.
