    Microsoft Exchange Server zero-day, anyone get caught out

    We did, it was planted in January, I now know of four others, frustrating thing is Microsoft are charging for the patch, some people are saying it is Chinese government sponsored

    Had issues with OneDrive not syncing which has resulted in little work being done. It chaps suggested it was an MS issue.

    The hafnium thing, nope, luckily we were clean as a whistle.

    Who told you the patches from MS are chargeable? They certainly haven’t been for me or anyone I know...

    Have a gander at Sophos threat response forums, some good info there and also here:

    We had issues with Azure and Teams today - now fixed.

    Strange, we patched up a couple of weeks back and all the patches were freely available from MS.

    Do you mean MS charged you to actually apply the patches etc?

    Microsoft does not charge for patches - are you sure this is not whoever is hosting your old school exchange server (because as far as I'm aware this only impacts older versions)?

    Apparently the patch wouldn't install and Msoft had to dial in to fix it, I wasn't there, you call it old school but unfortunately a lot of customers are not happy with their manufacturing or design data sitting on cloud systems, even though banks are.
