    Fancied a change from PCLs

Bored on a zoom call so thought I would try out a bark and jack broad weave strap I got for my old SMP. I quite like the results, what do we think?

I’m tempted to look into a decent brown strap, brown goes with blue right?

It looks OK but I do think that modern Rolex look their best on bracelet.

You’re right. I’d just popped it back on bracelet after about 5 mins. I like oysterflex but aside from that I think bracelet all the way for a modern Rolex.

Possibly a good thing as it’ll save me a ton of money on straps that I only ever wear for a few hours.

The YM suits the PCL’s I think due to the polished case.

Plus the fact that if you brush a bracelet on a watch that doesn’t come that way from the factory then it can look a bit knock-off.

I wouldn’t dare! I’m so fickle with watches it would cost me a fortune polishing then brushing then polishing again.

I’ve liked the look of the GMT Master on brushed bracelet, but then again the case is not so shiny as the YM. I actually find my two tone sub is less shouty than the YM.

I’m sure the answer lies in a GMT Master on jubilee, but then again there’s the issue of getting hold of one.

I like it. Personally I see nothing wrong with frequent strap/bracelet changes to keep it fresh, turns one good watch into lots of variety.

Once upon a time I'd have sworn by the mantra of 'keep a Rolex on the bracelet'. Now I wear mine more often on straps than the bracelet.

I think the two tone sub would look v. nice with brushed centre links, I have a couple of older Omegas with brushed gold centre links and its a good look IMO.

I think that’s what’s so good about the Tudor Black Bay S&G, the nice brushed effect on the centre links. Decent price point also.
