Looks great and the case back almost looks like a HD TV screen in the metal, crystal clear. It is a gimmick but there is nothing else like it. Congrats on the incoming.

Missed this when you first posted it, thats a nice looking watch for sure. Might have been tempted if I'd been paying attention.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Is that from an OB and what part of the country...mine should have been here by the end of March and no update.

  6. #56
Yes from the OB but the Berlin OB.

Just fabulous...how many times have you put Snoopy into orbit ?..

Word is that although its not strictly a LE as we know it, it was originally billed as Limited Production in that it could naturally cease production at any time if Swatch / Omega see fit to introduce a different headline “novelty”....nobody will ever know how many were made and that all adds to the desire to own one..

Awesome piece I hope to one day own...

They are so just cute. I don't care how much of a fuddy duddy you are, it's impossible to be snarky about Snoopy.

    Congrats.

Lovely watch OP. I wasn’t aware of the background of the award and just read a brief description here:

    Looks great on the bracelet.

Always find leather straps take a while to 'bed in'...and then before long they wear out!

Not sure of the exact bracelet reference, but it's the bracelet from the new Sapphire Sandwich which has a watch reference of 310.30.42.50.01.002. Sourced through the Boutique in my case.

It does look great and even better in White Gold which I saw when I picked up my Snoopy. I know it is expected but it was so heavy compared to the normal speedy!

I was also quoted €700 Euro for the steel bracelet!

However, I have asked them to get one in as well as the new NASA straps to have a look.

Apparently, I was 4th on the list but you should have seen their face when I asked why I wasn’t 1st! . I was only messing around but it was funny to see the flash of panic on their face! Got me a few goodies though!

Plus she told me that the names are being sent to HQ for final decision on order of delivery. Not sure what criteria they are using!

Interestingly re the model I've circled below I know an AD who still has one of these in stock BNIB. But that one comes on a brown nato however I'm sure it is the same watch. Ti and Sedna Gold.

It the 45th Anniversary Apollo 11 which does come on the brown nylon NATO but it is currently on the X33 Skywalker Ti bracelet as that fits perfectly

Thanks. I refused the 321 back in September and decided to wait for the Snoopy announcement the following month as I couldn't justify both. Having now seen both in the flesh, I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Apologies OP - I mistakenly thought I posted my pic in the "general" Snoopy thread that was created when the watch was announced. Didn't mean to hijack.

i'd lost track of Speedmaster launches having moved on my 'normal' one a year or so ago.

this version is very nice with a playful nod to the Snoopy connection but nicely packaged overall.

Not at all. Congratulations on the purchase. Good to see a few more of these landing. I also passed on the 321, might take another look at some point in the distant future if I get the chance though

No but OB's are getting the first allocations (apart from those Ernest Jones branches that double as Omega Boutiques).

I registered my interest in one on Omega website way back when it was first live but haven't heard anything since. Problem is I don't live anywhere near an Omega boutique

When I bought a Speedy Tuesday Omega sent it to my house, didn't need to go to the shops and that was pre Covid days when I was a lad.

    Owned it for 45 mins.

Lifted it out the Omega box, looked at it for a few mins then put it straight into another bigger box and took it the Post Office. Sent it to Darren at Vintage Speedmaster and he sold it on commission a few days later.

Sorry to bump this thread, but has there been more of these in TZ hands lately? It's been a 3 year wait for me, and I got the call recently from an OB.

Yes, I got the call, not a 10k watch IMO

No it’s around a £15k watch on the current market!

If you meant value for money then you can say the same for any luxury watch brand! It’s all subjective!

I agree. I gave up waiting and bought my zenith pilot big date. A far more accomplished watch for the money. The speedy is a looker though.
