    Yema Digidisc

    Evening all,

Thinking of adding a Yema Digidisc to the ranks.

Aesthetically i think its stunning (brown is edging it over the black for me it think) but its a bit of a gamble on A - a brand that i'm not overly familiar with and B - how it will look and wear actually on the wrist.

I'm still getting drawn in though!... any first hand experiences on the forum?

    https://en.yema.com/collections/digidisc

    I thank you in advance!

Had a rotolog, rather liked it tbc (used to have a soft spot for nixon as it happens and had a few).

I think its miles off a rotolog (also had a Nixon Murf that i rather liked)... its auto for starters and a completely different case shape.

That's the way I'm leaning too...

Currently 10% discount if list with a free watch roll; I asked for 20% which they declined but yema do regularly discount (I know it's new so may need to be a little more patient) so may keep my powder dry for a while yet.

Yema keep teasing me with these whenever I log into facebook. I love 'em but have to put a stop somewhere.

My only dislike is the way the edge of the 0 in 10 is trimmed on the hour disk. Wouldn't be a deal breaker but a slight annoyance.

I actually think the price is quite reasonable considering the specs. In house auto movement, sapphire crystal and 100m WR for around £425. I think it’s a nice looking watch also. Brown dial would be my preference op.

My resolve has been broken after a couple of weeks admiring it... went for brown. Aesthetically I think its sublime; feel, finish, quality and wearability TBC

    Each to their own.

Reminds me of the Instalite I bought for £45!

Bracelet looks like that on the £80 Seiko I bought my wife.

If I'm looking for positives, the finish on the case looks quite nice.

Just not for me, I guess.

An automatic watch, made to look like what was futuristic back in the 70’s digital watch. The only thing that remotely looks right to my eyes having once owned one. The shape of the case.

Well, it'd be boring if we all liked the same thing, wouldn't it?
