Anyone got into jigsaws over the lockdown?

Madam found me this wee 500 piece, ‘Iconic Watches’ by Artisan.

We’ve done it twice now, once each. No hugely taxing to complete, but quite a pleasant outcome!

Yes i have dozens of them but none of watches.

I cant find all the photos but here are some of them.

I got sick of it after doing many 2000 piece ones in a row and it started to become a grind.

Some absolute crackers there! We have 1000 piece ones which can be quite challenging given the small size of the pieces, but more so the subject matter. 2000s would render the dining room table u/s for far too long!

I bought a felt covered notice board with alloy surround for about £18 online. Its cheap and nasty but does the job, you just plop it onto of other tables and its so light you can move it around.

I made a custom board for 4000 piece jigsaws but i started one and thought NO this is not fun lol

We got bought one by my Aunty and Uncle for Christmas. 500 piece of us in the gardens at Arundel Castile with the Cathedral in the background. Bloody hell the first few hours were painful. Will get it out again soon enough I’m sure.

Great present idea btw if you’re struggling for ideas.

I have done quite a few. Just finished a Banksy Montage - very tricky. In fact so much so I framed it, titled it Lockdown 3.0 and hung it in the downstairs loo.

Before that I did a L S Lowry. Coming from the Mill - again tricky.

You ought to let her complete it first... lol

She has one sitting on a travel board that gets brought out at odd times, turntable tone arm on a huge black background, it’s getting there, slowly, very slowly, but she won’t be beaten.

Nope, but I did buy a Lego Porsche for the first time in 30 years as a result of someone on here.

I'm saving jigsaw puzzles until I'm in the old folks home. Then I'm going to destroy some of the pieces. Muahahaha.

Been doing some on MS games site. They even have a program that allows you to add a image and it will break it down into a jigsaw

Might try a Singer Porsche image
