    Broadarrow's, let's see them.

Well there's lot of love for the new Smith's variants and rightly so, this is a thread to celebrate some vintage Timefactors watches and in this case the Broadarrow brand. So what have you got?
    I will start with 2 PRS11's, a PRS5 and a PRS3.

    Just the one . . .

Below on a nicely worn in and faded Haveston canvas, with a recently arrived pair of the same with the new canvas keepers. I think the brown will suit it well. They just need some wear and washing to get them very slightly shrunk and stretched in order to fit the 19mm lugs without any forcing . . .

I note that there is a PRS-5 on eBay currently. The price is a bit rich though, it's on a BIN for £700.

Pity, if it had been more in the £500 region I would have snaffled that.

A couple of slightly better pics although nowhere near Magirus' standard.

Bringing this thread back from the depths as I bought this very watch from Lee a few weeks ago and haven't taken it off!

I'm starting to think after all these years/watches that this one might be perfect. It's currently on a Phoenix Bond with the extra bit cut off and as it's slim anyway it doesn't sit too high or catch on sleeves. 20mm lug width is perfect, extremely legible hands, lovely case shape, 10yr battery life. I even love the Broadarrow name on the dial - just the right size, simple and not ostentatious font, does the job with no extra fuss.

I was digging around in the depths of the forum looking for photos of the various Broadarrows and found a post from about 10 years ago made by me complimenting another poster's Broadarrow PRS3. I said I'd love to try one, but never expected to get the chance given that they haven't been on sale for years and rarely come up. In fact I'd forgotten I'd ever written that, but am glad to finally have had the chance to try one. Never say never, but I think this one's a keeper!

I like it so much that hopefully a PRS11 will be on the way to me soon, and in the meantime a Zeno PRS4 is waiting for me at the post office!

Agreed that the bang for buck is insane with the PRS3 and nice to have a few watches 'from early on', so to speak.

That was decided by many a long time ago. See links below. The Monnin case is the Bible of the tool diver. The Broadarrow versions are rock solid. I've known people who have used them and abused them.
