The guy will die of a heart attack, stress, in an accident or by a knife before long. The idiot thinks he's some kind of vigilante.

    That's a very angry chap.

Also, in numerous instances he appears to be thinking he has priority over pedestrians on e.g. crossings which over here means he's in the wrong. Is it not the same in the the US?

The guy is prize class door knob, one day he’ll injure somebody seriously and on that day I hope they use his footage against him.

He’s a grade A sphincter. Really asking for a walking stick or umbrella thrust into his spokes with the way he intimidates pedestrians.

He's an "All American Jerk." It's sad but a lot of people will view this and think most Americans are like that. New York is very different to most of America I am led to believe.

Perhaps on camera? One can of course live in hope. ;-)

I've come across cyclists like him in London (I'm sure they are everywhere).
I have some sympathy with him because, as a motorcyclist, I know pedestrians' behaviour can be frustrating and often dangerous; I've only hit one so far - not my fault and no injuries although bike did suffer some plastics damage.
However, he does seem to go out of his way to scare the crap out of people whereas I would choose to at least try to give them a wider berth.

Assume there's lights on the crossings.

In other videos I’ve seen of his he does give way at crossings quite politely saying "your lights" so I guess they are signal controlled.

There's definitely some kind of common disconnect in pedestrians minds about what the bike lane is for and the potential speed and energy of traffic going through it....particularly in that section where it crosses the pedestrian area.

He doesn't help his cause though...he looks like he actively collides with some of the pedestrians making no attempt to avoid just because he is "in the right". I imagine he wouldn't be too impressed if one day he made a mistake and a car driver took the same attitude.

He's right about 60% of the time but he's way too critical of some of the people in the roads with no cycle lanes that he can easily pass safely without berating them.

In NYC 99% of crossings have Walk/Dont Walk signs, so I'd say in most of those cases he probably has right of way.

I'm ashamed to say I did chuckle but more at his reactions and limited but funny vocabulary. Am I imagining it but it seems that many pedestrians are oblivious to traffic, don't really look both ways and just assume nothing is coming as they cross the road? I think traffic awareness is better here...certainly in London with people crossing roads. Also in Rome where no one stops for you so you just walk slowly out and keep on walking while they slow down and let you go.

Yep, act like that long enough in London and it was always going to happen. I'd also hazard a guess he would be selective about who he did that to when he made the video.

I get that people shouldn't be in the cycle lane but using an air horn just for your revenge youtube video...he deserved that after causing someone to drop their phone. It even looked like he almost caused some people to jump into traffic.

Finning watching! The guy is hoping that everyone he deliberately rides into is a woman and not a not job. He will get filled in one day!
