Looks like people have read a dial and not the listing.
The wee black smiths Empire is nice though, I've got an onsa with similar dial and handset but suspect its much larger.
I bid a shade over 400 and was slightly annoyed that it went so high.
I read the winding module. Now maybe people are faking the A296 winding module, but I doubt it. What was underneath it is another matter...
And it's been pulled, presumably as a fake, which it wasn't.

Fortunately I ripped a picture to try to make sense of it:
Now it could be an imitation A296 winding module and the characteristic wear on the case could be faked - it certainly looks as if someone's been at the lugs, but I'd be astonished if it's a fake. Over £500 says that I'm not the only one who thought so... However, I'd love to see some really expert opinion, because if these are getting faked to this standard, then...
