    Friday 26th February

Probably the only ever time I’m likely to kick off this thread. Held off a few minutes to see if someone had got in first.

Pilot’s watch Mark XVIII edition, “Tribute to Mark XI”.

I’m a sucker for them. AFAIK they are seen on JDM models, so this 6306, my 7548, and SBBN007 Tuna. Not seen on “J” SKX (which I have!) as those were made in Japan, but not JDM. I can read the day in Kanji, as long as it’s Thursday or Friday, and the red Sunday is a giveaway :)

Feel like I should have worn my IWC Mk XVI for a hat-trick - but this is firmly affixed to the wrist!

Photo taken yesterday but rest assured it is being worn today and for a while to come!

Some lovely watches today, people. Got up early this morning and drove west to this big art installation in the desert. Wore a watch suitable for exploring the desert.

This "Casioak" arrived earlier this week and I just love it. Makes such a refreshing change to all my other watches and the yellow is just fantastic and has received several positive comments from work colleagues and even my wife!
The actual hue of the yellow is hard to capture accurately in pictures but it's quite muted and reminds me of English mustard.

    Cheers
    Neil

Argh, reminds me mine needs a service. I miss wearing it - one of my most comfortable watches and actually one of the most commented on by non WIS.

Still the Ming 2701 for me -
