    Class action vs Qualcomm

I’m not really a fan of these sorts of class actions but if it comes off, it might be a few £ for anyone in the UK who has bought an Apple or Samsung smartphone since Oct 2015:

you could be due between £5 and £30

I fully support the issue but my time is worth more than this. Filed in the "can't be arsed" drawer.

Just imagine if you signed up to a CFA with contingency fees, the lawyers would take 25% of your damages leaving you with £3.75...

We seem to be rushing headlong down this road with everything now, diesel cars, phones and anything else you can think of. im also in the can't be arsed group even for £30 each for maybe 3 phones.
Fine the buggers by all means and use the money within the industry.
Another thought is, how much data will these actions collect of the back of peoples greed to get some free money, and how much is that data worth, a lot more than £30 a phone i think.

PPI released billions to the pockets of folk in the days after the 2008 crash and the socialisation of bankers losses/bonuses.

That being said, there are far better group litigation efforts going on than this £30 rubbish. Have a look to see if you’ve featured in a data breach.
