Really sad to hear this. I remember being aware of her work at the age of 10 or 11. In fact I'm sorry to say the first time I became aware of her was from a rather crude joke that was going around our class at junior school, based mainly on her chest size.
I shall try to remember her for Fantastic Voyage rather than that excruciating appearance on Terry Wogan's show in the '80s.

I never saw that one. Even at an early age, the notion of humans living alongside dinosaurs annoyed me.

Raquel was so beautiful and like many other young lads of that era adjoined my bedroom wall.

What a shame, she was a class act.
As an aside she was due into a WH Smiths to do a book signing and I was all set to go but had to work.The Mrs took my two oldest boys. Raquel made a great fuss of them and they were pictured in the local paper and TV news.
