    Luff elastico straps

Everybody seems to rave about Erika's straps but there is no way I can justify the price of them to myself so I have done some searching and like the look of Luff straps and wandered if anyone has any experience of them? I read one post mentioning them but there doesn't seem to be much about them on the forum. Are they worth a try?

I know of the other MN type type straps and would possibly go for a Nick Mankey but it would seem like his lead times are fairly long at the moment.

I've looked at these before but didn't get one in the end so would be interested to know what you think.

I will take a chance as well.
I want another orange strap. And they are a fair bit cheaper than others, but they don’t seem to have the horrid glossy fabric of other cheaper versions

I ordered Saturday and it has been dispatched, it should be with me in a week or so. Unless I get hit at customs it seems to have cost me just under £24 inc postage.

The Luff has just arrived and first impressions were good although I don't have any other elastic straps to compare it to.

When I went to fit it they have sent me the wrong size, 22 rather than 20mm which is disappointing. I have emailed them so hopefully they will resolve this as checking the order it would seem to be their error and not mine for a change.

    Mine also arrived this morning

    First impressions are as follows
The material is stiffer and tougher than Erika’s (but what do you want for the price?)
It is similar to the elasticated NATOS that can be bought, not unpleasant but not as refined as more expensive straps

The hardware is fine but again less refined than the more expensive versions

There is not much difference between 20 and 22mm so I need to see how they fit. This is the same for the original material Ericka and NDC used, so not a surprise.

    The colours are good

Its easier to adjust the length of the strap on these compared to others

For the money I am happy enough so far

    edit:
The 22m black is perfect for my Tuna
The 20mm orange suites my MSAR a treat.
The 22mm blue is too narrow for my sharkmaster 600... (I thought the 22mm might expand a bit for the 24mm lugs. - so my fault)

    Luff elastico straps

I thought I would post a few pictures and thoughts

For some reason I have always worn this watch on an orange strap. For years it’s been a 2 ring Zulu but the Luff is much more comfortable,
The strap is easy to adjust which enables you get a good fit.
The material is not as nice as an Erikas but it’s better than the other makes I have tried. It courser but thinner.
I have a black version on my black tuna, I am interested to see how the clasp PVD / paint holds up

Overall I am happy. I need to find a watch that suits the blue strap though.

They look good, particularly the orange.

Luff took a while but did get back and have dispatched the correct size for me now. I think they are worth the £20ish each they cost even though I haven't actually worn one yet.

They look decent but it's a shame they don't offer a bronze hardware option.

My correct sized strap has just arrived and I am very pleased with it, I am sure an Erika's will be softer but I don't think this can be faulted for the money.

I agree they are much better than some of the others on sale.

That looks a nice combo, I’ll have to look into these straps.
    Cheers,
    Rob
